Deserving Scholars:
Senior Award Assembly

The list was long for all the upperclassmen who received awards. Categories from scholarships to Athletic awards were handed to deserving seniors. Graduating seniors and families gathered to recognize the achievement s of fellow classmates.
The ceremony was held in the auditorium; it began at 7:00 PM on Wednesday evening and ended around 8:30. At the end of the ceremony award recipients celebrated enjoying cookies and other refreshments. “ I won three awards: Mission Bay Staff Scholarship, Union-Tribune most valuable staffer award and Academic Recognition for a 3.5 or higher. I was very excited I was only aware that I was only going to win one award. I’m happy to know that I accomplished something,” says Amy Frega.
